You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions (Open Water Part 1) and by making four open water (ocean) dives (Open Water Part 2 ). Open Water Diver Part 1 Using PADI’s proven Quick Start method; we get you into the water quickly and safely. Prior to attending the classroom portion of this course, you will watch an instructional video, perform self study, and complete knowledge reviews. The course consists of five lecture session and five confined water (Pool) dives. The pool sessions allow you to master your basic dive skills in a protected environment where you can fell comfortable practicing what you’ve learned in class.
